Psych-ed Out

I saw this video over at My hmphs last week and then I saw it on TV this weekend advertising the new season of Psych on USA. I got the first season over at Wal-Mart for something like $20 about a month ago and I love it, the best new show I’ve seen in a long time. It’s got the quirky-ness of Monk, but this one doesn’t get old quite so fast. The main guy of the show was raised by his Detective father who constantly quizzed him and tested him on his observational skills, but he didn’t want to grow up to be like his dad, in fact he didn’t want to grow up at all. There is a series of humorous events the local Police Department thinks that he is a Psychic and he begins aiding the Department in the solving of crimes – using his Psychic abilities. Not only is the humor fun and quirky in all kinds of good ways, but the pop culture references such as the “Ebony & Ivory” clip – Priceless.

You can check out a few episodes over on Hulu. Hulu seems to be a pretty cool site where you can watch quite a few TV shows from different networks. They even have a bunch of cool old shows as well as the hip new ones as well.
