Christmas Duets

Christmas brings out some strange combinations of singers, Here are some from over the years.

This one is from the classic 1954 Christmas movie White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye as well as the wonderful “Sisters” Rosemary Clooney (Aunt of George) and Vera Allen. (OK, it’s not so Christmas-y unless you’ve seen the movie.)
Sisters|Rosemary Clooney and Trudy Stevens
Here’s probably the most remade Duet for Christmas, here’s a nice old version.
Baby It’s Cold Outside|Ray Charles and Ella Fitzgerald
Here’s a rather new one.
New Star Shining|Ricky Skaggs and James Taylor
Here’s another version of the classic, from the 2003 film Elf
Baby It’s Cold Outside|Leon Redbone and Zooey Deschanel
Here’s a nice live version of a modern classic from the ‘Very Special Christmas’ Series.
Merry Christmas Baby|Sheryl Crow and Eric Clapton
This version is from the live for TV Holiday special. According to the story I heard Bowie wrote the new words to this classic between the rehearsal and airing of the show – thinking the rehearsal version or original was a bit boring.
Peace On Earth, Little Drummer Boy|Bing Crosby and David Bowie
I don’t know what to say about this crazy combination of singers.
Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town|Frank Sinatra and Cindy Lauper
This is from last years Elton John Christmas album.
Calling It Christmas|Joss Stone and Elton John
A metal version of this classic, a bit out there if you ask me.
I’ll Be Home For Christmas|Twisted Sister and Lita Ford

P.S. fixed Hannukah song links, didn’t realize they weren’t working.
